Welcome to El RSS: Your New Home for Connection, Collaboration, and Community

If you’ve been part of Latinas In Podcasting for any amount of time, you already know this: we value collaboration over competition. People at the bottom compete. Latinas looking to grow collaborate. Con corazón.

That’s the foundation everything at LIP is built on. It’s how we’ve grown from a tiny 4-person happy hour in DTLA to a 450+ member community in a mere 18 months. It’s how we’ve created a space where Latina podcasters and historically underrepresented creators don’t have to code-switch or perform for validation. It’s how we show up for each other, week after week, event after event, win after win.

Y ahora, we’re bringing that same energy to this blog, El RSS. Cute, right?

El RSS: because just like an RSS feed connects you to the content you care about, this blog connects you to the resources, stories, and community you need.

If you’re a podcaster, you already know that RSS feeds are the backbone of how podcasting works. They’re how your show gets out on the platforms, how listeners become downloads, and how your content reaches the people who need to hear it. But RSS isn’t just for podcasts! It’s also how blogs, newsletters, and other content get delivered to the people who want it.

That’s what this space is about. We’re delivering what you need to grow your show, improve your skills, and stay connected to a community that actually gets it.

Latinas In Podcasting exists to uplift marginalized voices, especially Latinas and other women of color. We’re here to shift the narrative away from the male, pale, and stale stereotype and put Latinas in the forefront. We’re building a future where Latina podcasters have the visibility, tools, income, and confidence we’ve always deserved.

El RSS is an extension of that mission. It’s a space where we can share resources, celebrate wins, amplify voices, and keep building the tables we deserve to sit at, together.

Inside  LIP, community is a verb. It’s not something you consume passively but something you participate in actively. That means showing up, asking questions, sharing what you know, celebrating other people’s wins, offering support when someone’s struggling, and connecting people who should know each other.

You can’t just take from the community, you have to give to it, too. And when we all show up with that mindset, magic happens!

The same goes for El RSS. This isn’t just a place for us to talk at you. This is a space for all of us. Share these posts. Comment. Send us your ideas. Tell us what you need. Let’s build this together.

So what’s coming to this space? Three things:

Practical tips and resources for podcasters. Whether you’re just starting out or you’ve been at this for years, we’ll be sharing actionable advice, tools, and strategies to help you grow your show and build your legacy.

Guest posts from people working inside the industry. We’re bringing in voices from industry professionals who are doing the work and sharing what they’ve learned.

Community celebrations and highlights. This is where we spotlight the incredible work happening inside LIP:

  • member wins
  • collaboration stories
  • podcast launches
  • milestone episodes

Because your success is our success, collectively.

El RSS is just getting started, but it’s already rooted in everything LIP stands for: connection, collaboration, and community (as a verb!).

So welcome. Bookmark this page. Share it with your podcast friends. Come back often. And most importantly, show up ready to engage.

We’re building something here. And it’s only going to get better.

¡Pa’lante!
