Here’s How It Works

Pitchfest is a free, high-energy live event where YOU get the mic (literally). Whether you’re a podcaster seeking out your next dream guest or a guest ready to share your story on the right shows, this is your moment.

What You’ll Experience:

• One pitch, endless possibilities: say it once to a room full of people who actually want what you’re offering
• 2 minutes to shine: just you, your story, and the people who need to hear it
• Direct connections: no middleman, no awkward follow-ups. Members who align with your pitch will reach out to YOU
• Limited spots (only 25 pitches): we’re keeping this intimate so every pitch gets the attention it deserves
• Can’t make it live? No problem! Send a pre-recorded 2-minute video and we’ll share it with the room (heads up: videos over 2 minutes will be cut at exactly 120 seconds, so keep it tight!)

Who Should Sign Up?

Podcasters looking for guests: Stop begging people to be on your show. Pitch your podcast to a room full of potential guests who are actively looking for platforms.

Guests looking for shows: Tired of pitching into the void? Show up, share your expertise, and let the right hosts come to YOU.

Anyone with an opportunity to share: Got a workshop, a collaboration idea, or a project that needs the right people? This is your stage.

Where Do You Sign Up?

Decide if you’re only going to watch pitches or if you want to pitch:

1. Register for access at this link.
2. If you only want to watch the pitches, you’re done! But if you want to pitch, continue to step 3.
3. Find your Zoom confirmation email and click the link to apply to pitch. All pitch slots have been filled, but interested parties are invited to watch the pitches!

From there you can decide if you want to pitch live on Jan 21 or submit a video. If you choose the video option, you must submit it by Jan 19th. No late videos will be accepted.

Pitching spots are limited to a maximum of 25 pitches and currently only available to LIP members. So don’t wait to sign up!

What’s a pitch?

You’ll have exactly 2 minutes, but what should you include?

1. Your name (Hi, my name is…)
2. How to reach you (email, DM on socials, website address, etc)
3. What you’re pitching (to have guests on your show, to get clients for your services, to be a guest on shows, etc)
4. Wrap it up with a reminder of your name and how you want to be reached.

Keep it TIGHT. After 2 minutes you will be cut off, whether live or on video.

So, show up. Pitch with confidence. Walk away with real opportunities.
